Halloween Special: A Night At Bhangarh Fort

This tale is not for the faint hearted but if you love true horror stories, you are in for a treat. Not sure how much of it is true, but someone told it to me and he believed it to be true. So happy Halloween and enjoy a night at bhangarh fort. Do tell me if you liked it!

Benedict Thorburn and a group of his friends were out for a camping weekend after a long hard year of meetings and presentations. Every year, he and his friends Becky Fassbender, Rajat Rathod, Sanya Singhania and Gurveer Singh Sethi, went out for camping in the nearby woods to get away from their fast paced lives. This year, Gurveer had suggested a camping in Alwar, Rajasthan. The reason for his suggestion was simple. He didn’t want to travel for long and he wanted a quiet and uneventful getaway from his life. Others agreed and decided to camp at Vanaashrya Camping Resort.

As I’m traveling by bus today, so I thought of writing this scary bus horror story. Hope you like it. 🙂

It was a Friday night and Varun had to reach New Delhi early morning for a job interview. His secluded village didn’t have a bus stand so they had to wait on the roadside for a bus. It was getting late and no bus towards Delhi passed by him.

He would be late for his interview if a bus didn’t stop for him in the next hour. It was almost 1 when a really old bus stopped in front of him. Nowadays buses have doors that open automatically but this one had manually opening doors. It was an odd choice of transport but due to his desperation, Varun decided to go for it. He texted his mom that he had gotten a bus and was on his way.

Linda said, “Come on… you don’t want to keep the others waiting. Come along.”

Michelle could not move. “COME!” Linda shouted. The sheer noise of  the shout woke Michelle up from her trance and she agreed to follow her to where everyone was. Everyone was sitting still. It looked like they were possessed too.

“What is going on?” asked Michelle. Nobody replied. “I’ll tell you.” said Linda, “See it was not just David and Linda who murdered me. It was someone else too.”

Vacuum – The Return

Edward looked at Helen with disbelief. She saw David’s dead body right before Linda and Sarah found it. Helen could not believe it herself. She was sure no one else could either. They quickly got dressed and went where Linda and Sarah found the body. Everyone was there.

All of them were terrified and sad. Linda was devastated. Even if what he did was wrong. He didn’t deserve to die. All of them prepared to bury him on the moon. Sarah informed Houston of the tragic passing. She put on record that David died when the carrier caught fire.

“Take it off of me!!!” he said.

“Uncuff him” said Sarah.

Edward uncuffed him. Suddenly the lights started flickering and David vanished into thin air. “Where the fuck did he go?” said Edward.

“He was right here!” said Linda, stating the obvious.

“David!!! Stop playin with us and come back here.” Linda continued.
